On-premise

On-premise describes software installed and run on the organization’s own servers, rather than consumed as a cloud service. The organization keeps control of the infrastructure, and takes on its operation.

Ubidesk is a cloud platform: there is no on-premise installation to maintain. Control comes through other levers: data residency chosen among the EU, Canada and the United States, end-to-end encryption and the audit log.

In practice

If your policy mandates everything on site, weigh that against the real requirements: many constraints are satisfied by data residency and the DPA.
