Webhook
A webhook is a notification a service sends to your server when an event happens, instead of forcing you to poll the API continuously. You receive the event as it occurs.
Ubidesk webhooks notify, for example, that a session ended, that an unattended device connected or disconnected, or an audit event such as a confirmed file transfer.
In practice
Point webhooks at an HTTPS endpoint you control, and cross-check sensitive events against the audit log: a delivered webhook is not proof on its own.
