Agent

The agent is software permanently installed on a device to enable unattended access. It registers as a service on Windows and Linux, and as a session daemon on macOS.

The Ubidesk agent keeps an outbound connection to the platform on port 443. After a reboot, a network change or sleep, it reconnects on its own — including in Safe Mode with Networking.

In practice

The agent deploys in bulk through GPO, Intune or Jamf, and the workspace binding is embedded in the package: no extra configuration is needed.

Agent

Software permanently installed on a device so technicians can reach it without anyone on site, reconnecting automatically after reboots.
