Backstage mode

Backstage mode lets you work in the background on a machine while it is in use, without showing your screen or disturbing the person at the keyboard: console, files and processes, out of sight.

In Ubidesk, backstage opens the command line (CMD, PowerShell, Bash, zsh) and system tools remotely, so you can restart a service, fix a failed update or unblock a process while the machine keeps working.

In practice

Backstage is available from the Pro plan, and every intervention is recorded in the audit log, timestamped and attributed.

Backstage mode

A way to work on a machine in the background while it is in use, without disturbing the person's screen.
