Unattended access

Unattended access connects you to a machine with no one in front of the screen: a server, a register, a kiosk or a fixed workstation. The technician authenticates, picks the device in the console and takes control without any local action.

Ubidesk relies on a permanently installed agent. It keeps an outbound connection on port 443, reconnects after a reboot or a network drop, and even starts in Safe Mode with Networking, so you can repair a driver or a broken configuration without physical access.

In practice

Unattended access removes none of the protections: mandatory MFA, confirmation before file transfer and the audit log apply in this mode too. Reserve it for machines you own and maintain.
