Temporary client

The temporary client is the small program a user runs to join an attended session. It runs without installation, without admin rights, and leaves no service or leftover file once it closes.

The Ubidesk temporary client is a signed executable. It never starts on its own: it waits for the session code the user types and ends with the session.

In practice

The temporary client is built for locked-down machines where local policy blocks any installation. For regular access to the same workstation, the permanent agent is the better fit.
