Session code

A session code is the six-digit number a technician gives a user so they can join an attended session. It is the only secret on the user side, and it works exactly once, for a limited time.

In Ubidesk, the code is generated when the session is created. Attempts are rate-limited server-side, a rejected code cannot be reused, and an unused code expires.

In practice

Share the code by voice or over a channel separate from the session itself. Never contact someone to ask them to enter a code they did not request.

Session code

A six-digit, single-use code that the user types to join an attended session and prove they invited you.
