Attended session

An attended session connects a technician with a user who is present at their computer. The user sees what is happening, approves control, and can take back the mouse or end the session at any time.

In Ubidesk, an attended session starts with a single-use six-digit code that the user enters themselves. They then run a temporary client that needs no installation and leaves nothing behind.

In practice

This is the recommended mode whenever a person can confirm each action on the spot. It shares the same encryption and audit guarantees as unattended access.

Attended session

A remote session where the user is present and approves each step, from entering the code to granting control.
